Mugen Tsukuyomi // Infinite Illusions 👁

The mind has the ability to place us under an infinite amount of illusions. What we call reality is infact just a fraction of what's happening around us, captured by our senses and interpreted by the brain - reinforced patterns, replaying. This is so transparent that we don't even know it is happening most of the time.

The identity derived from the limited mind interpreted sensory data is the illusion. This limitation is how the mind keeps its identity, sustaining the dream, keeping us trapped in worldly illusion.

But..
What if we observe this mindly phenomenon in ourselves?
What if we use the world as a mirror to see more clearly the illusions of our minds?
What if everything and everyone is a teacher of this?
No preconceived intentions to change it or anything, just observation.
What then? Who or what is watching beyond the mind? Who is I? Who is dreaming?
Does the dream collapse?

Yes and no.
As Alan Watts puts it:
..."When a thief is robbing a house and the police enter on the ground floor, the thief goes up to the second floor, and when the police follow up the stairs the thief goes higher and higher until at last he gets out at the rooftop."

The mind keeps mutating to maintain a sense of continuity, identity. It is building new floors constantly. When the police comes, it will climb again. It is both the thief and the police.

The moment this realization becomes a thought, crystallized - a noun, the mind has climbed yet another floor, time for the cops to bust in!
Our emotions are the guides of this process, listen.

Be gentle with your mind.
Ask yourself this - with genuine intention to understand: where have I gone unconscious? Where have I gone back to the dreaming?
That point of rupture is also the point of growth.

Embrace it gratefully.
It starts and ends with me.
Right here, right now.
Through joy and suffering.
I allow my actions to be guided by kindness and compassion.
I allow the roots of Love to grow within my Heart.
I am the destination but I must go on the Journey of Life to meet my Self.
I am grateful for the infinite illusions of the mind, so that I may realize that which it is not.
I AM 🙏
