When someone points at the moon, do not grab onto the finger, look at the moon!

What does this mean?
Let’s consider science. Science is uncovering marvels never even imagined before, discoveries in quantum physics is taking us leaps into the future. People now are venerating science itself but fail to recognize that science is only pointing, harnessing what does already exist. Science is the finger, the Energy behind the science is the moon.

How about religion? Sacred texts convey meanings, contradictions that each time you read you may discover new significance. This points to something that cannot be grasped in the form of dead knowledge, it is a living thing, conveyed in metaphors. But now, religion has become a tool to control the masses, taken literally, a dead thing, rubbish knowledge of the mind. Religion or spirituality is just the finger, look at the moon!

When we look at someone, we don’t see what is. We have a tendency to see a dead thing, fixed in memory, the graveyard, the finger. We don’t see the moon behind the clouds. Look at the moon!

This is what a metaphor is like, in different contexs it can have different meanings, beyond the grasp of logic, contradicting itself at times - it simply IS. How can mere words grasp the magnitude of Infinity? Only poetry, singing, music, dance, art can aspire to convey anything meaningful. Not because it has knowledge, but exactly because it has no meaning whatsoever, it simply points the way to what IS, living, fluid, ever-changing, Unquantifiable, Unknowable, Infinite.

And so, to you my dear friend, I say look at da moon 🌝 become the Sky Eternal in which all is reflected 🪬
